Toastmaster & Master of Ceremonies Ken is at Milton Keynes Wedding Fair 30th September, 2009

Milton Keynes Toastmaster Ken Chaproniere will be exhibiting at the Milton Keynes Wedding Fair in Middleton Hall this weekend 2-4 October 2009. Ken works as a Toastmaster and Mater of Ceremonies for weddings and other formal occasions such as Charity Dinners, Awards Ceremonies, Masonic Ladies Nights and Corporate Dinners and Events.

Ken has also recently acted as company Beadle to the Woshipful Company of Musicians.

I’m often asked by couples planning their wedding in Milton Keynes or elsewhere in Buckingahmshire, what I do and why they should enegage me for their special day.  As the Toastmaster I will oversee the proceedings, freeing up family members to enjoy the occasion to the full.  I will give the necessary attention to detail and where possible be involved in the later stages of the planning of the day if required.

No two weddings are the same and not all items on the list below will be required.  Similarly, there may be other aspects to be covered which can be discussed in the planning stages.  As your Toastmaster I will undertake the following duties, if required, in whatever order:

 Greet the Bride and Bridegroom abd his groomsmen on arrival.    
 Receive the guests on arrival and guide them to the ceremony if its to be held at the same venue. 
 Organise the receiving line.
 Announce the wedding breakfast.
 Announce the guests individually.
 Call attention to the seating arrangements/plan. 
 Announce and escort the Bride and Bridegroom to the top table  
 Announce or say grace
 Circulate the guest book during the meal  
 Announce and give due ceremony to the cake cutting and sabrage (if required)    
 Introduce speakers for speeches, responses and toasts
 Assist with photographs     
 Have bouquets and gifts for presentation ready to hand 
 Announce and escort the Bride and Bridegroom from table  
 Liaise with band and disco
 Act as Master of Ceremonies to commence dancing and introduce the first dance

Where there is a Registry wedding at the same function, additional tasks will be performed by me as your Toastmaster in close liaison with the Registrars.

As your Toastmaster I will be a vital and efficient link between you the client and a whole host of people who are there to make sure your very important family occasion is a memorable success from start to finish.  These will include the caterers/banqueting staff, photographers, videographers musicians and the DJ.
